Our Mission

The Waymap Idea

Waymap was founded by Dr Tom Pey, who has lived-experience of sight loss. Born from decades of research, his idea was to create a navigation app which truly works for everyone. To transform the lives of blind and disabled users; create a cutting-edge product that makes the world easier to navigate for all.

Indoors, outdoors, and underground.

We’re doing just that.

Making Any Venue Accessible

No Physical Infrastructure

Waymap doesn't need to install any physical infrastructure for our app to work. Gone are the days of Bluetooth beacons. This dramatically reduces the requirements and cost of both deployment and upkeep. All we need is a map of your venue.

ESG and Accessibility Leadership

Physical access to the built environment is legislated around the world. Not only does Waymap help make your venue more accessible, but it positions your organisation as a true leader in the Social aspect of ESG.

Improved Visitor Experience

By meeting the wayfinding needs of disabled users, Waymap's precision vastly improves the experience for everyone. Tourists, shoppers, hospital patients, whoever it may be.

Replaces conventional wayfinding

Waymap is replacing the need for conventional wayfinding artefacts. Our app supports countless points-of-interest, which can be managed real-time through our map management system. We are also constantly increasing support for new languages.
